Below is additional information about becoming a panelist and about hosting one of our upcoming programs.

What to Expect as a Panelist

FountainBlue recruits senior leaders (senior-director-level-plus) from partner tech companies within Silicon Valley to participate in our monthly panel discussions. In general, the speakers are nominated by women’s group leaders from our partner companies because of their exceptional leadership skills and execution results. Our host companies and corporate partners (those who purchase a corporate pass for the year) have the first option for nominating 2-4 speakers for the year, but we also include other companies actively participating in the series. We know that our panelists are very busy executives and request some simple requirements for participating:

            • Please calendar the full 2 hours for participating in the event, plus 15 minutes following the end of the event.
            • This panel is conversational-style with no need for PowerPoint presentations. We will coordinate a half-hour prep call so that we can brainstorm themes and questions.
            • Please send a 100-word bio and photo for inclusion on the web site and on the invitations.
            • Our panelists will each receive two guest passes. Please let us know the names and contacts of your two guests at least two weeks prior to the event.
            • Additional passes are available for $40-$50- each or $250 for up to ten people to attend.
            • The typical audience is 40-100+ tech professionals at varying stages of seniority/experience, representing all business functions. We will send our panelists and hosts a list of pre-registered attendees with details in preparation for the prep call.
            • At the event, please join us for the first half hour of the meeting and actively participate in the ‘movers and shakers speed networking’ portion of the event, to help break the ice and increase the energy and networking experience for all.
            • Feel free to promote the event to your network, and send out follow-up notes following the event, with credit to FountainBlue, the other speakers and the When She Speaks series.

If you are a female senior executive at a tech company in Silicon Valley, please nominate yourself to speak at an upcoming event, or request that your women’s group do so on your behalf.

Hosting an Upcoming When She Speaks Event

The cost is $2500 to host a FountainBlue When She Speaks event. We ask our tech company partners to:

            • Provide space and food for 40-100 people in the audience;
              • We recommend serving food buffet style and offering many vegetarian and healthy options.
              • We recommend water rather than sodas.
            • Promote the event to your internal staff and collect the names and e-mails of attendees. We ​are happy to provide you a no-cost registration link for your staff​ if you’re interested​;
            • Provide on-site signage, security, audio visual and other logistical support for the event;
            • Provide a flip chart or white board for notes from the session;
            • Provide two registration tables and two food tables;
            • Provide reserved parking and parking signage for our guests;
            • Provide a video or audio recording of the event, for access to internal and external staff during and following the event (optional).
